Over 2,800 patients with different ailments in Kebbi State have received treatment from 29 American and 40 Nigerians doctors at the Kalgo General Hospital.

Daily Sun gathered some of the patients went through successful operations .

It was learnt that about 5,000 of them went through surgeries and received free drugs before the invited American doctors departed to their various destinations after  three-week sojourn in Kebbi while the Nigerian doctors continue their services.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, who visited the hospital  to inspect the works invited doctors, said their services helped to improve the wellbeing of the people.

He commended the state medical staff for supporting the doctors and mobilising the patients, who turned out in a large number for the treatments.

Governor Bagudu in an interview with journalists had said that “Most of them were here for a second term and were really happy to partner with us on our laudable achievements. ”
