Thirty five ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from July 19 to July 30, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), said on Tuesday.
NPA explained that the expected ships contained buck wheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, containers, bulk charcoal, diesel, base oil, bulk salt, steel products, frozen fish and petrol.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the document noted that five ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with petrol and bulk gas.
NAN reports that 15 ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, buck wheat, fertilizer, diesel, butane, buck rice, containers and petrol. (NAN)
