FOUR people from the Sout-West of the country have emerged winners in the ongoing Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission’s (NCPC) ‘Win A Trip To Israel.
The winners, Awojolu Korede, Olowoyo Emmanuel, Adeniran Segun and Rev. Usha Ekugbo emerged from an open draws presided over by Dr. Olugbenga Faseluka, the state Head of Service, who represented Governor Ayodele Fayose.
At a special prayer session, NCPC Executive Secretary, John Kennedy Opara, said the initiative to ensure that people win slots was borne out of the need to enable Christians fulfil their dreams of visiting the holy land at little or no cost while also lifting the burden off the government.
Speaking in the same vein, Director General, National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Adolphus Joe Ekpe, represented by the state Coordinator of the commission, Tayo Fasunkanmi, said the initiative would ensure sustainability of Christian pilgrimage in Nigeria and enable Christians who are financially challenged to enjoy a memorable pilgrimage to Israel.
