Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development Dr Uche Ogah has promised to lead the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia to victory come 2023.

This is even as the former minister has said the restoration of his mandate by an Abuja Federal High Court, was in tandem with the popular wishes of Abia APC faithful and the generality of Abians who are desirous of liberating the state from years of underdevelopment.

Ogah, who stated these in Umuahia on his return to Abia State, applauded the judgement of the court which gave him victory in his suit against Chief Ikechi Emenike.

The former minister, who addressed his supporters and other party members at his campaign office in Umuahia, described himself as the man with the capacity and wide connection to rebuild and transform Abia and urged all party members to work for the success of APC in next year’s polls.

He thanked the APC executive members of the party for keeping the flag of his victory flying even while he was away.

He promised to hit the ground running in his campaign and election strategies and assured that Abia would regain her lost glory from next year if he wins the governorship election.
