All roads lead to Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Conference Center and Suites, Abuja tomorrow, as Nollywood actor, producer and director, Charles Awurum will be honouring distinguished personalities who have contributed immensely to the society at the 2017 Magic Lens Africa Film Academy Awards of Excellence.

Some of the awardees are Dr. Ngozi Chianakwalam, Director, Change and Reorientation Mission; Dr. Demian Ndubuisi, Mr. Martins Onyebuchi, CEO, Onye-Eze Production; Cyril Akonteh, Director, Splash Cancer Community Care Programme; Mr. Collins Archie-Peace, Rosemarie Sesay Osuji, Wendy Sonkey, Agbor Gilbert, CEO, Cameroon International Film Festival-Camiff and many others.

According to Awurum, it is a time to reward those who have contributed positively and impacted lives in the society. “Magic Lens Pictures has gained international recognition that is why we are rewarding those that deserve to be recognized. On September 1, 2017, Mgbechi Onu Ugba, a product of Magic Lens was premiered at the First Igbo Diaspora Heritage Festival held at Best Western Hotel Capital, Lamharm, Maryland, USA. We also won the Vigo Awards International Canada on September 10, 2017. So, we still have a lot to do and will definitely offer more to our fans,” he said.
