The Federal Government has announced that the Abuja/Kaduna rail service, suspended after bandits attacked, killed and abducted passengers in March, this year, would resume this month.

The Kaduna-bound train was attacked in Katari, Kaduna State, which left eight dead, with more than 62 passengers abducted.

Subsequently, on March 29, 2022, the Nigeria Railway Corporation shut down the rail servcie

Speaking at the second edition of the of the PMB administration 2015-2023 scorecard in Abuja, yesterday, Transportation Minister, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo, assured that the rail service from the country’s capital to Kaduna would resume before the end of November 2022.
