Ada Chukwudozie: An Amazon At Apex Of Manufacturing
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

By Tonu Manuaka

Nigerian women are emerging stronger and taking the centre stage as corporate titans. Among the new amazons on the block is Lady Ada Chukwudozie of Dozzy Group of Companies.

A graduate of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, where she studied Chemical Engineering, Lady Chukwudozie has distinguished herself in learning with several other academic qualifications, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; Diploma in Law from Lagos State University; Diploma in Mandarin Chinese Language, Chinese Cultural University, Taipei; and a Diploma in Chinese Language, from Taipei Language Institute, Taiwan.

Lady Chukwudozie also holds an honorary doctorate degree from European-American University and has undergone several training programmes within and outside the country cutting across Management, Entrepreneurship, International Trading as well as Oil & Gas.

An alumnus of the Lagos Business School, a fellow of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria (IOD);  and a Council Board member representing the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria at the Federal Polytechnic Oko, she proved the stuff she is made of when recently she emerged as the Chairman of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) for South East, with over 150 active member-companies.

A highly skilled boardroom and corporate player, she’s involved in the running of the sprawling Dozzy Group, a conglomerate of over 14 companies, where she is saddled with responsibilities of growing the bottom line of the companies.

Among the companies are: Dozzy Oil &Gas Limited; Ever Oil & Gas Limited; Ugo-Hannah Energy Limited; Dozzy Maritime and Oil Services Limited; Specialty Oil Company Limited; Dozztephan Industries Limited; Hardy Oil Nigeria Limited; Dozzy Plastic Industries Limited; Huron International Limited, and Tempogate Oil and Energy Company Limited.

Aside from her very challenging tasks and engagements in Dozzy Group, Lady Chukwodozie is also a player in the media industry.

She is the publisher of Vogue Afrique, an event, fashion and Lifestyle magazine.

Born in Ezinifite in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, this corporate titan is happily married to Dr. (Sir) Daniel Chukwudozie (OON), Chairman of Dozzy Group.

It is for her multi-tasking ability to be a big player in the industrial sector, with the Dozzy Group and the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.
