An Abeokuta, Ogun State high chief, Adejare Adegbenro, has pledged support for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying he has the Midas touch to turn Nigeria. “Out of all the presidential candidates engaging in the ongoing electioneering towards the 2023 contest, Tinubu appears to have been adequately prepared for the job ahead,” adding, “his democratic antecedence and executive experience as former governor of Lagos State for two terms is an added advantage for him,” the grandson of the late premier of the defunct Western Region, said

Adegbenro, who is also grandson of the late financier of the famous National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), Alfred Rewane, added: “Tinubu fought in the trenches under the watchful eyes of my grandfather against the military dictatorship, the result of which is the democratic experience we are enjoying today in Nigeria.”
