At the RJ4 Building on Adeola Odeku, Yeside Laguda, recently set the runway on fire with the creative expressions, which her label, YL Brand, made with various fabrics dyed in the unique Adire style.

As the models sashayed and swung their hips on the runway, adorned with fantastic designs, just about everybody in the audience was enraptured by the visual beauty and creativity of the YL Brand collection.

Laguda, an Environmental Chemistry graduate of Reading, England, who has pitched her tent with the fashion Industry, the fashion show presented in living colour her creative expertise, strength and metamorphosis, all of which demonstrated that deep thought goes into what she does before a dress is ready to wear.

“With Adire, we can choose our fabric texture and that enables us deliver better,” she said, adding, “I think every brand has a soul. At our core, we celebrate femininity, to show that the YL woman is confident. I work with every fabric like organza, silk and cotton creep. We can work with many fabrics. Adire is not a fabric because it can be on any fabric.”
