The Paramount king of Ndigbo in Ghana, HRM Eze Dr.Chukwudi Ihenetu, has congratulated Senegalese President elect, Bassirou Faye on his victory in the just concluded presidential election. 

Faye, who was recently released from prison alongside Ousmane Sanko, the top opposition leader, was said to have defeated Ba, who was supported by outgoing president Macky Sall.

In a statement issued from the revered Obiukwu Obieziokwu palace, the Umuduruoha Amigbo Nwagele Imo state-born Royal Father HRM Ihenetu said the emergence of the 44 year old as president made him the youngest president in Africa.

“His victory is evidence that Africa is developing politically and that youths in Africa are taking back leadership position which rightly belongs to them.”

On what other African leaders can learn from this development, HRM Ihenetu call on them to eschew sit tight syndrome and yield to positive change.

Eze Ihenetu prayed that God Almighty would give the young president the wisdom of Solomon to rule the country right.
