The Sports minister had after a consultative stakeholders meeting between him and the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF), held yesterday in Abuja stated that the technical report should point the way forward ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

On the move being made to hire a foreign coach for Eagles, he said the soccer federation needed to convince him that she would be able to pay the coach.

“I want to see a technical report of what happened during the AFCON qualifiers. I have given them four weeks to get the report ready. When we get the report, then we would know where to start. They must also prove that they have an established source of funding for the payment of the foreign coach they intend to hire,” Dalung said.
