Marvelous Osume Irorakpor aka Marvelux ID is a Nigerian artists based in United Kingdom is a musician, songwriter, performing artist, record producer, video director/ editor, content creator, 3D animator, poet, entrepreneur and activist.
Marvelux ID is known for his depth and logical reasoning in his lyrics, quotes, poems and short videos. He released his first official EP entitled The King Don Come on June 10 this year, with the lead single “Oruko Jesu” and “Las Las” from his debut.
Marvelux ID describes his music as Afro-Reggae, a genre that blends Afrobeat, Dancehall Rhythm, Reggae, American rap and Rhythm & Blues.
The multi-talented artist is an independent artist and Chief Executive Officer of TheKingofdjungle Entertainment Limited, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria.
Marvelux ID is currently working on his second EP, which is expected to be released in the last quarter of 2022 or early next year. Marvelux ID is open to collaborations both from independent artist’s, record label’s not excluding recording deals and endorsements.
Marvelux hails from Delta State. His father was a realtor and his mother worked as a health worker. He grew up in Southern Nigeria and began making his own beats using Fruity Loops and recording his vocals using Sonar. He attended Our Saviour Group of School in Sapele, Delta State, Nigeria and Ceta international High School in Edo State, Nigeria. He later studied Computer Science at the Our Saviour Polytechnic, Enugu State, Nigeria. He relocated to Lagos State where he launched his music career before relocating to London to further his studies.
Marvelux ID has over the years lent his voice to the voice of the oppressed through his songs, poems and short video to create awareness to issues of governance and social change in his country and in Africa at large.
