Odunayo Akintomide is an award winning Lagos based gospel artiste who has become a sought after to many churches and people.
She is known for her Afro contemporary ways of giving thanks to God.
Akintomide is a worshipper, composer, song writer, producer and also a performing artiste. She has worked with other top gospel artistes like Tosin Bee, Bukola Bekes, Chigozie Wisdom and others.
The gospel artist has one album and many singles to her credit. She is the composer of stronger than my enemies, let there be light, Aanu re, Jesu mi ga, and the award winning Faithful As You Are (FAYA)
She is about to release her new single titled:”Olowo Nla” (the one with a mighty hand).
She was nominated for two awards by AGMA in 2022 which she won one of the awards. She is the CEO of KOD studio, one of the most sought after studios in Lagos
Akintomide is a member of RCCG chosen generation parish. She is married with children.
According to Odunayo, i have been singing since i was in primary school. I also joined a music group when i was in secondary school. I have been a choir member almost all my life until recently that i get busy with ministrations outside my home church. I have been singing in the choir for over twenty years.
“I went into full time ministry in 2017 when I launched my first album.
Music is my calling, music gives me joy, music is like a lifeline to me. I have passion for music.
I have a band of twelve men. The name of my band is KOD crew”, she said.
Speaking on her latest effort, “Olowo nla” (the one with a mighty hand).
“Olowo nla is a song that talks about the potency of the mighty hand of God. Olowo nla is a song of prayer. 1kings 18 verse 46 tells us about how the hand of God granted Elijah against his enemies. Olowo nla will be dropping in the month of July. Watch out for Olowo nla”, she disclosed.
