Actress, Aisha Mohammed, has joined the league of Nollywood actresses transforming into producers. Her debut movie, entitled My Name is Kadi was premiered recently at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja.
Among personalities that graced the event were the likes of Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, Josephine Ramos, Desmond Utomwen, Grace Amaiye, Femi Gbajabiamila and Desmond Elliot among a host of others.
Commenting during the event, the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed implored governors to encourage and support movie producers by providing incentives and creating enabling environment for them to thrive
In June 2016, produce her debut film entitled My Name is Kadi where she plays an outstanding role alongside Blossom Chukwujekwu, Kenneth Okolie, Tina Mba and Silvia Oluchy among others.
The indigene of Nasarawa State has a first degree in sociology from Nassarawa State University where she is currently pursuing a master degree in Industrial Sociology
In 2007, Aisha won the Face of Nassarawa State beauty pageant and represented her state that same year at Miss Tourism Nigeria where she emerged among the Top 10. In 2012, she took her first acting role ever in a soap opera but never acted any other film after that. In 2013, she won Miss NYSC Taraba and contested for Miss Nigeria 2013 emerging among the Top 10. In 2014 she made a major comeback into Nollywood and has been unstoppable since then. Today she has featured in a number of films including School Pool Party, As Crazy As It Gets, No More Love, Diary of Player and Filth among others.
