Governo Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has approved the appointment of caretaker committee for all the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
The Governor also approved the appointment of supervisors and special advisers in all the local government areas.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Segun Ajiboye, who released the list of the local government political appointees in a statement issued, on Wednesday, said the House of Assembly would screen all the nominees.
It would be recalled that an Ondo State High Court, sitting in Akure, had, penultimate week, dissolved local government administration in the state.
The administration of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko had through the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) organized local government election last year.
But the All Progressives Congress (APC) boycotted the council poll, while the name of the People Redemption Party (PRP) was missing on the ballot paper used for the election.
The new appointees are expected to serve in the local government for a period of six months pending which an election will be held.
