Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has made a case for Nigerian children in the day-to-day administration of all tiers of government in the country, saying for any government to achieve, it must give adequate attention to the views of the children.
Besides, Akeredolu said the time has come for government to interface with children directly, instead of merely talking about them.
The governor, who spoke, yesterday, during a courtesy visit to his office by the management of the Ondo State Radio-Vision Corporation (OSRC) to mark this year’s Universal Children’s Day, said: “Often times, people talk about children being the future of tomorrow without taking into cognisance the need to involve the children in the day to day conversation.”
To celebrate the day in Ondo State, the management of the OSRC vacated office for the children to run the affairs of the station and also broadcast.
