As next month governorship election, especially in Akwa Ibom State, gathers momentum, indigenes residing in 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, yesterday, endorsed Dr Nsima Ekere, the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

President, Akwa Ibom State indigenes, Abuja Chapter, Tommy Etim Okon, while addressing them, noted that the endorsement was borne out of the belief that with his experience as a former deputy governor and managing director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Ekere stands in good stead to transform the State.  Okon, who handed over a Bible as a guide for him to study and lead, urged him not to disappoint the confidence and trust given freely by the people.
