Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State of Nigeria has said all was now set to welcome Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to Jalingo, the state capital.

This was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, to Alhaji Hassan Mijinyawa and made available to Daily Sun, on Wednesday, in Jalingo.

Ishaku said that the Acting President would be commissioning some flagship projects of the administration including the multi billion naira Green House project and the Jalingo-Kona Road Dualisation projects.

While noting that the presence of the acting president would go a long way in assuring the people that the Federal Government has the state at heart, Governor Ishaku said that the visit would also help to highlight some of the projects the administration had carried out even with such lean resources available to the state.

Ishaku said that the “projects are in fulfilment of the administration’s drive to create jobs, boost revenue generation and extend the state’s road network for sustainable commuting of persons and farm produce to accelerate development”.

The Command’s spokesman ASP David Misal said this in a phone interview with Daily Sun, on Wednesday.

He said that the “Operation Order has been drawn already and the command is fully on the alert in all ramifications to ensure that there are no security challenges whatsoever prior to, during, and after the visit.
