The Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, venue of  the AFCON qualifier between the Super Eagles and Pharaohs of Egypt was jam packed with thousands of enthusiastic crowd left stranded outside.
Not even ticket holders could watched the match as the stadium was filled to capacity as at 2.30pm, leaving the security personnel hectic time to control the surging crowd.
Our correspondent reports that members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) including the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick and members of the League Management Company (LMC) and club owners were left with no option than to return to their hotel rooms to watch the match on television.
“It was a chaotic situation with thousands fans stranded outside the stadium. Even Amaju could not gain entry into the stadium while members of the LMC and the club owners returned to their various hotels to watch the match on TV,” our correspondent reported.
