Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State has lamented the flood that ravaged some parts of the state in the past few days describing it as the most trying period of his administration.
High brow areas of Lagos like Victoria Island, Lekki, Ajah and others have been submerged in flood as a result of heavy down pour since Wednesday, last week.
However, Governor Ambode assured that his administration has been challenged to tackle the menace head-long.
The governor spoke at the Water Technology and Environmental Control, held on Monday, at Renaissance Hotel, in Ikeja.
