The duo of Fanny Amun and Emeka Inyama have given a pat on the back to The Sun Newspapers for setting machineries in motion for a pre World Cup seminar aimed at galvanizing support for the Super Eagles ahead of the Russia 2018 campaign.

The two soccer buffs in separate telephone chats described the seminar billed for May 22 in Port Harcourt as timely.
Amun, who spoke from his base in Benin, Edo State said The Sun had done well by coming up with the seminar.

“This is what the media should be doing. I am impressed with this, it will help the country do well in Russia. I will be there in Port Harcourt to be part of the event,” Amun said.

Amun, a former Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), it was recalled, led the Golden Eaglets to win the Japan 93 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Inyama on his part said the seminar is coming at the right time and venue.

“Eagles are playing their farewell game in Port Harcourt. Going to the Garden City to brainstorm on how to get it right in Russia is a wonderful idea. The Sun has won my heart,” were Inyama’s words.
