Anambra governorship election has been done and dusted for over one week now but it’s surprisingly amazing how opinion writers have launched an ‘ungodly’ attack on men of God who made prophecies concerning the election.
The election no doubt was one of the most unpredictable elections held in Nigeria so far due to the uncertainty and happenings in the state some months to the election but alas, it held peacefully to the surprise of many.
Several opinion writers have described Nigerian prophets who prophesied about the election as false because they feel they missed it this time around but the latest of them all is one (names unknown) who spoke on the prophecy of Apostle Omotosho Tope Joseph, the general overseer of OTJ Ministries, Another prophet whom he failed to mention his name and Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
In his analysis which was titled ‘Anambra Poll And Nigeria’s Sundry Prophets’, He briefly spoke about Apostle Omotosho’s prophecy, touched the anonymous prophet and spoke extensively on Primate Ayodele’s prophecy, making it look like he is the subject of the opinion write-up.
If this writer was factual in his analysis, it would have made more sense but unfortunately, this writer just edited Primate Ayodele’s prophecy, made incomplete quotations of his prophecies just to spite the man of God which of course is ungodly.
He started by mentioning that Primate Ayodele told YPP Ifeanyi Ubah that he has victory surrounding him in the election but he will be eased out technically, the writer was totally right about this.
For PDP, He mentioned that Primate Ayodele said that unless the candidate does the needful, he will not win but this writer failed to pick the part where Primate Ayodele said ‘Only a coalition can help PDP have a better chance at the election’, this alone is suspicious.
The writer’s major concern is that Primate Ayodele didn’t say APGA will win the election. He went further by stating that Primate Ayodele had written APGA off in the election whereas, it’s just a false statement. According to Primate Ayodele’s prophecy which was signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the only parties that were totally written off were YPP and APC.
Since 2020, Primate Ayodele had told APC that 10 million members cannot give the party victory in Anambra poles. Even after the primaries, Primate Ayodele made it known that Andy Uba who won the party primaries will not be governor in Anambra state. For YPP, he mentioned in July that except APGA doesn’t get united before the day of election, he won’t have a chance to be governor.
For APGA, Primate Ayodele categorically stated that the people of Anambra are not ready for them because the governor, Willie Obiano has failed in his assignment BUT if he can beg the people of Anambra and pray to God, Charles Soludo will have a headway. Unfortunately, the writer of the latest opinion write-up only picked where Primate Ayodele asked Willie Obiano to pray and asked a question ‘Could the governor have turned a prayer warrior overnight?’. This writer also claimed to be a man of God, it’s quite disheartening that a man of God thinks one has to be a prayer warrior before asking God for his favour.
On begging the people of Anambra, before the election campaign started, APGA went on to beg Ojukwu’s widow who had been angry with the party and Governor Willie Obiano. Ojukwu is a founding father of APGA and is well respected by the people of Anambra even though he is dead, many believe his spirit is still among them. A committee constituted by the governor went ahead to beg his widow before they started campaigning, confirming one of the points Primate Ayodele gave. How come the writer never saw this?
As an opinion writer, facts should never be far from your write-ups except it’s pure propaganda. What the writer of the article that attacked men of God has portrayed is mere propaganda and as such, should be totally ignored.
By removing some parts of Primate Ayodele’s prophecy just to prove a point, it has clearly shown that it’s either the write-up was sponsored or written out of gross wickedness.
