By her emergence yesterday Lolo Okafor has become the first female governorship candidate from any of the political parties for the forthcoming Anambra governorship election.
Speaking shortly after her election, Okafor said that the male had failed the people hence it was time for a woman to rule the state.
While thanking members of the ACD for trusting and choosing her, she assured that she would not disappoint if given the mandate by the people of the state.
At the party primary witnessed by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security operatives, Okafor also said that her major priority in the state would be to improve the quality of education and security.
