A socio-political group, South-East Concerned Group, has begin the process of  mobilising support for Anambra State governor, Chief Willie Obiano, in the November 18, 2017 governorship election.

According to the group, in a statement by its coordinator, Ifeanyi Eze and President, Dr. Chuks Onuegbu, it will mobilise Anambra voters to vote for the incumbent governor and give him a landslide victory.

The group said a victory for Obiano was a victory for Anambra people, as the governor has done well in the last three and half years and his reelection will be in the interest of Anambra people.

“Every ambassador of Anambra State must see Obiano’s victory as a task for all,” the group said.

The South-East Concerned Group stated that since provision of infrastructure was the yardstick to measure performance, Obiano has excelled and therefore, “does not need much campaign in Anambra State to convince voters.”
