…Obiano to take lion share of votes from Obaze’s Ogbaru area

As 2017 November gubernatorial election of Anambra State draws near, most communities and individuals in the state have continued to identify with Governor Willie Obiano.

Such came from the people of Ochuche Umuodu community who gathered in their numbers to show solidarity to the governor for the  despite that a son from the community, Mr. Oseloka Obaze, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is also running for the same election.

Addressing the leaders and youths of the community, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano on Political Matters, Mr. Arinzechukwu Awogu, commended the people of Ochuche Umuodu, for identifying with the governor as against any other candidate for the November election.
He assured them that dividends of democracy which the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) government had at hand would be evenly distributed to all villages in Ogbaru including Ochuche Umuodu.

Awogu reminded them that in just three years and half, Governor Obiano had remembered Ogbaru people more than any previous administration did, while affirming that the governor is an Ogbaru man by heart.
He noted that Governor Obiano’s administration was mindful of conditions of roads in Ogbaru Local Government Area and was doing its best to tackle the problems head-long.
Awogu mentioned Ossomala-Ogwuaniocha, Ossomala-Ogwuikpele and GMO-Ogbuagwu-Ngbuka-Amazu roads which, he said, reconstruction works were currently on-going and also said that the N20 million Choose-Your-Project initiative of the state government was still on-going of which Ochuche Umuodu community had benefited from.

He assured the people that the Obiano-led government had more for them and other communities just as Mr. Okey Udeze, one of the Obiano’s aides, assured the Ochuche community that their votes for the Governor’s second tenure would no doubt bring more development and democracy dividends to their door steps.

Some of the elders who on behalf of the community members expressed their readiness for the re-election of Governor Obiano included Chief Ojini Nnamdi who represented the Oduuas , Chief Opia- Izuchukwu who represented the Okparas and Odua Godwin.
The youths leader in the community ,Mr. Egbuna Chukwuemeka promised that the youths would vote for Governor Obiano considering his achievements in the state.
In a vote of thanks, Mr Asha Boniface said that the community had resolved to support Governor Obiano.
