“A big chinese firm has approached us with the intention of collaborating with us to build a rail line from Apo to Keffi.
“By the time they finish the rail line, it will decongest the major highway from Karu to Keffi.
“All they want is for me to speak with some of the biggest investors that I have worked for in the past for a partnership so construction can begin by middle of next year,” he said.
He called on residents not to lose hope on APC as the party continues to work round the clock to churn out dividends of democracy.
He also assured supporters that the party would always be law abiding and obey court judgments on all matters, including cases brought to courts by some contestants who lost out at the party’s primaries but are contesting the outcome of the polls in court.
“If anybody feels cheated and wants to go to court, we will not stop them. We will plead with them not to go but if they decide they must go, we cannot stop them and whatever decision is taken by the court at the end of the day, I want to assure you that we are law abiding party,” he said.
