Following the ruling of the Supreme Court that nullified the gubernatorial primaries of the All Progressives Congress in Taraba state, the national Secretariat of the party has slated 10th of February for a fresh primaries in the state.

A statement released by the party and made available to newsmen in Jalingo by the state party publicity secretary, Aaron Artimas, urge all stakeholders to take note of the new date and prepare towards it.

“This is to notify all members of the All Progressives Congress APC in Taraba State, particularly gubernatorial candidates that the National Secretariat of the party has scheduled to organize fresh gubernatorial primaries for Taraba State on Friday 10th February 2023.

“To this end, all concerned are advised to prepare themselves for the exercise. The fresh Primaries will take place at the Jolly Nyame Stadium on the stated date of Friday, 10th February 2023” it read.

Meanwhile, the Bwacha campaign organization has expressed confidence that Senator Emmanuel Bwacha would win at the primaries and eventually the state.

Mr Aaron Artimas, publicity secretary of the campaign organization told our correspondent on phone that the campaign organization was working assiduously to ensure the success of the candidate and the party and called on all supporters to remain steadfast despite the detractions.

Sunday Sun recall that the Supreme Court on Wednesday nullified the gubernatorial primary election of the party following an appeal by Chief David Sabo Kente who approached the Court challenging the victory of Beach at the primaries.
