The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) won all the polling units in the presidential villa, Abuja, giving victory to both the chairman and councillorship candidates of the party in Saturday’s election.

The APC candidate for the chairmanship election scored a total of 290 votes to defeat his major rival contender in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 132 votes at polling units (PU) 021 and 022.  While the APC scored 162 votes in PU 021 and 128 votes in PU 022, the PDP recorded 70 votes in PU 021 and 62 votes in PU 022 respectively.

 For the councillorship election, the APC polled a total of 273 votes to defeat PDP which scored 151 votes from the two polling units in Aso Rock.
