Apostle Joseph Cookey, a Nigerian cleric recently showed his philanthropic nature by empowering market women with millions to boost their respective businesses.

The River State, born pastor who answered the call to serve God in 2006, and started his own ministry, Awesome God ministries in 2012 is known for the impact his ministry has made in a short while.

Few days ago, the Apostle visited 4 different markets in Rivers State, where he gifted over 300 market women with over 15 million naira to support their businesses as Christmas approaches.

According to Apostle Joseph Cookey,  who is happily married to Mrs. Tina Cookey, he plans to do more for the widows and less privileged before the fast approaching Yuletide

“Next month, before Christmas I plan to package good things, money, gifts, for the widows and the needy. The mission of Awesome God ministries is to win souls back to God, reconcile men to God as well as putting smiles on the faces of less privileged. With this we are  restoring hope to the hopeless. We also use this as a means to exercising  authority in the life of the sick and the depressed,” he said.

Having the likes of Bishop David Oyedepo, Apostle Johnson Suleiman and Pastor Sunny Cookey as his role models, Apostle Cookey performs wonders and miracle through the power of God.

His Ministry also hosts a yearly event titled ‘Emergency demand urgent response’. While his Bible School, Awesome God Prophetic School, has also been able to impact sound biblical knowledge, training  lot of pastors in the past four years of its establishment.
