THE Nigerian Army yes­terday, said one of its se­nior officers serving in the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji in Kaduna was, yesterday, abducted by unknown gunmen.
The officer, Colonel Sa­maila Musa, according to a press statement signed by the Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Usman Abdul, was abducted at Kamazo area, near NNPC Junction, in Kaduna.
Musa’s abduction came on the heels of the abduc­tion of three clergymen in Kaduna.
The statement added that the abductors blocked his car, pulled his wife out of the car and drove Musa away in his own car. The car was said to have head­ed towards Abuja.
The statement pleaded with “anybody with useful information or assistance to please assist in tracking these abductors.
“They were in a Mer­cedes Benz GLK Black colour with registration number Abuja, KUJ 154 TZ. This happened at about 7:30pm on Saturday, March 26.
“You are please request­ed to inform the general public of this unfortunate incident.”
