Aso-ebi is becoming one of the things to reckon with especially among fashionistas in Nigeria and even beyond.
If one is attending a party where there is aso-ebi and the person is not part of it, that person would look like a fish out of water. Even other guests would begin to look at the person as an intruder. No wonder everybody wants to be part of the aso-ebi during occasions like wedding, birthday parties, house warming, etc. They are made in array of styles in long or short skirts with stylish blouses. Some are made into beautiful long or short gowns too. The styles are evolving, and some of them are eye-popping and intricately sown because no one wants to look awkward or old-fashioned. They usually come in trendy colours in lace, ankara or george, and are matched with the traditional female headdress called gele.
