To Steve Babaeko, great memories are glittery marks engraved in the sands of time. He remembers ten years ago when he resigned from 141 Worldwide (now Nitro 121) to set up X3M Ideas, a Lagos-based digital advertising agency that was listed in 2017 as one of Nigeria’s fastest growing communication agencies. For every year, Babaeko worked so hard to grow the agency into what has now become a pan-African creative advertising powerhouse. Retrospectively, he feels the grandest reward for his team and partners is to celebrate with a two-month-long event. And in true fashion, X3M Ideas’ line-up of exciting activities to commemorate its decade of success featured a two-month-long event which effectively kicked into gear in the first week of June with teaser videos featuring the agency’s leadership: Steve Babaeko; Michael Miller; Obaro Obiuwevbi; Vivian Obiano; Olasunkanmi Atolagbe; Folahan Salam and Adenike Odutola.

The celebration of the anniversary also featured a Hackathon, X-NFT release, and X-Stream launch, alongside renovations to the agency’s offices and a climax with the X Party in the final week. The grand event held at the prestigious White Stone Event Centre in Oregun, Lagos was attended by various clients of X3M Ideas and industry experts, while the staff of the agency received awards for their outstanding performances and performed songs from an unreleased music album featuring the talented staff of X3M Ideas. As it celebrated a decade of excellence with the unique transformational framework, X3M Ideas, operating out of Nigeria, Dubai, Congo, Kenya, South Africa, and Zambia says it’s committed to becoming a top 10 global creative solution provider by 2025.  Thus for the next 10 years, Babaeko and his team promise to go even harder.
