The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in Polling Units (PU) 021 and 022, one of the two polling units located inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

  Buhari, however, defeated Atiku at Unit 021 by scoring 552 as against 505. At PU 022, Atiku polled 525 votes against Buhari’s 465. In the senatorial election, PDP won with 546 votes against APC’s 477 votes. In the House of Representatives, PDP won with 521 votes against APC’s 466 votes.   The grand total showed that while PDP got 1,030 votes, APC got 1,017. In the senatorial election, PDP garnered 1,081 votes while APC got 1,008. In the House of Representatives election, the PDP got 1,046 votes against APC’s 995 votes.
