Few days to the much-anticipated presidential election, members of the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar’s Campaign Organisation, have commenced a nationwide door-to-door campaign.

The campaign’s committee on Contacts and Mobilisation, while briefing journalists, urged the supporters to ensure that Atiku emerges president in the election.

Special Assistant on Youths and Support Groups to Atiku, Aliyu, Bin Abbas, urged members of the committee to be unwavering in their assigned responsibilities.

He said: “The committee, as the engine room of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation, should gear up on its assigned duties on contact and mobilisation, and leave no stone unturned as the election draw nearer.”

He said with the calibre of men and women in the committee, he believes that the committee will deliver on its mandate.

“I believe that with the quality of young men and women in this committee, victory is ours in this month’s general elections, as I seize this opportunity to assure you that the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation will give you all the support to succeed as a committee,” he said.

He reiterated the importance of working hard to ensure that those who never believed in what they had been doing would later believe.

Chairman of the committee, Godwin Momoh, promised that it would do its best to deliver on its mandate.

“As members of the Contacts and Mobilisation Committee of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation, we will not rest on our oars to ensure that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar becomes our next president,” said Momoh.

Members of the Contacts and Mobilisation Committee of Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organisation were drawn from the six geopolitical zones for maximum impact.
