Record label executive, Audu Maikori is angry and the reason for his anger is not farfetched. He is mad at the senseless killing plaguing Southern Kaduna.

An angry Audu had gone on his twitter handle and posted the following message earlier in the week in expression of his frustration at the genocide going on the in Kaduna.

“These aren’t numbers they are everyday Nigerians like you and I whose dreams were cut off suddenly. And this must stop.”

In another post which came with a picture he had stated: “For all the media stations that are quick to report the shooting of two people in Fort Lauderdale and ignore 800 deaths in #SouthernKaduna.

“We were put on this country to make it better than we met it and we shall leave it better than we found it #SouthernKaduna #letPeaceReign. We will not bury our children.

“And for all those keeping mute because you think it doesn’t concern you, watch  out! What goes around comes around.”

According to unofficial estimates, the December 2016 attack in Southern Kaduna put the death toll at 808, with 1,422 houses, 16 Churches, 19 shops, and one primary school destroyed.
