Newly appointed Super Falcons coach, Florence Omagbemi, has hit the ground running, as she has penciled down 40 players to execute the 2016 African Women Cup of Nations AWCON qualifiers against either Senegal or Guinea.

Omagbemi, who is leading the seven time African Champions pending the  arrival of an expatriate coach for the senior women national team, instructed all invited players to report to the Serob Legacy Hotel Abuja by today.

She is assisted by four-time African women footballer of the year heroine, Perpetua Nkwocha and ex- Falcons safe hands Anne Chiejine.

 The invited players included, former African Women footballer of the year, Assisat Oshoala,  Desire Oparanozie,  Chinwendu Ihezuo , Francesca Ordega.

Others are goalkeepers Ibubeleye White, Sandra Chichi, Belarus based Onome Ebi, Faith Ikidi, Osarenoma Igbinovia, Josephine Chukwunonye amongst others.

 Super Falcons was drawn a bye into the second round of the qualifying series, with the final competition to hold in Cameroon in November.

The senior women teams of Senegal and Guinea will contend over two legs in March, with the winner to battle the Super Falcons in home-and-away contests between 4th – 12th April.
