The Oko Addo community in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State has cried to Governor  Babajide Sanwo-Olu to come their rescue over the deplorable state of roads in the area.

Baale of Oko Addo, Chief Nojeem Otesade, who conveyed the plea said  with current situation of road network in area, the community would soon be cut off from other communities.

He listed Oko Addo to Saliu Obodo Street in Ira-Nla to Oke Ira Nla, which also links Addo-Badore Road and communities like Addo Town, Owode, Badore, Langbasa, Ajah etc in Eti-Osa Local Government Area as roads that needed urgent attention of the state government

The community leader appealed to Governor Sanwo-Olu to consider various challenges the community will face if  the people were cut off from other communities.

“These roads have been in deplorable state for many decades  and each rainy season worsens its dilapidation. This has adversely affected economic activities, depreciated the living condition of my people sojourning in the communities along the roads and also led to the flooding of homes and always contribute to the heavy traffic on Lekki Ajah Expressway around Sangotedo, Olokonla, Abraham Adesanya, Ajah areas,” he said.
