Hon. A frontline politician and legal luminary who has distinguished himself as a true progressive and strong ally of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
Banking on his popularity in the grassroots, he actively engaged the people of Irele on the need to sustain good governance and leadership as witnessed under the Akeredolu led administration in Ondo State.
To him, the 4+4 agenda was like a gospel as he walked the length and breadth of his community creating awareness for the incumbent Governor.
His contribution was largely felt during the Covid-19 pandemic era when he spent millions on palliatives to compliment the effort of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN in the state to cushion the effect of this pandemic among the people.
Also, he was one of the first set of individuals who had come out to openly declare their support for Arakunrin Akeredolu. The idea of Ibi Giga Ambassadors was mooted by Chief Alex Ajipe for the primary aim of projecting the unrivalled achievements of Governor Akeredolu and ultimately actualize his second term aspiration. Ibi Giga was convened by Alex Ajipe midway into the first term tenure of Aketi and the group took the gospel of Aketi to the nooks and crannies of Ondo State. Without being immodest, Ibi Giga Ambassadors group has truly endeared Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to an average electorate in Ondo State through its many supportive initiatives. Ibi Giga Ambassadors hadset out early on a mission to achieve the re-election of Governor Akeredolu even long before the real political foot soldiers of APC had thought it necessary to roll out plans for same purpose. The convener of the foremost campaign group for the re-election of Akeredolu, Chief Alex Ajipe had in June 2020 donated some branded vehicles to aid the mobilization of party faithful and the electorates.

Olusola Oke– Also another Aspirant in the Primary of the All Progressive Congress, Olusola Oke after the primaries made no hesitation to join hands with Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN to securing the victory of the incumbent Governor. Olusola Oke, a grass root politician who boast of thousands of supporters across the 18 local government areas of the state no doubt brought versatility and solidity to the campaign team of the Governor.
His support for the governor all allayed the doubts of others that the party was divided. He was actively seen with the Governor on numerous occasions canvassing for the re-election of the Governor.
Donald Ojogo– The Commissioner for Information in Ondo State no doubt deserves an honorable mention, the media is an important tool which when rightly used and harnessed brings in numerous benefits. The just concluded Gubernatorial election in Ondo State saw to the emergence of various propaganda aimed at discrediting the Arakunrin Akeredolu SAN.

Women in the state has been taught various handiwork and crafts through the FOWOSO initiative, among which are bead making, fashion designing, event management, shoemaking, tying of gele, catering craft among other numerous skills acquisition programmes in the state.
Another among the numerous laudable initiatives and projects of Arabinrin Betty Akeredolu is the bringing into existence the BEMORE Foundation. This foundation was birthed as a result of the strong passion of Arabinrin Akeredolu to bridge the knowledge gap between the girl child and their male counterpart when it comes to technology advancement and efficiency in Nigeria.
The light of the 21st century has seen to the increased advocacy for the liberation and emancipation of the girl child away from the fangs of an obnoxious and pathetic reality that undermine the relevance and importance of the girl child by seeing them as lesser human beings to their male counterparts.
Since the inception of the project in 2017, over 1000 girls has been properly trained and fully equipped with the right incentives to excel in whatever area of training they choose to major in. it participants are not just limited to within the confines of Ondo State alone as it draws participants from states like Imo, Oyo with the view of expanding it to more states in the Federation.Among other numerous and amazing achievements, Arabinrin Betty Akeredolu gave her husband the much needed booast to enhance his popularity and Legitimacy which eventually proved significant in winning his re-election bid
Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye – The Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN led administration in Ondo State was popularly noted and appluader for it great infrastructural drive in Ondo State. The History of the State have never seen the construction and rehabilitation of road projects these numerous since its years of existence. This is no small feat recorded by the Governor, which was also facilitated by men like Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, the honorable Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure in Ondo State.

The former aide to the immediate past Governor of the State, Olusegun Mimiko had every reason to have followed the then Governor of the state to the Zenith Labor Congress to support Barr Agboola Ajayi. Prior to the election, he has been seen on severaloccasions on different platforms: on-site, radio andsocial media canvassing and mobilising for the re-election of Arakunrin Akeredolu. His works are mostlyfocused or felt among the Public Servants and inAkoko Communities. He was a member of the CivilService Sub-Committee of the Aketi CampaignOrganisation.
He is one of those who went the extra mile in holdingmeetings, granting interviews, and facilitating billboards to amplify the good works of the Governor inthe State.
Hon. Kolawole Babatunde– At a time when the socio-political situation in Akoko was tough, before Arakunrin secured the full support of other political big wigs in the area, Hon Kolawole Babatunde was one of the first few to come out openly to support Arakunrin Akeredolu.
He not only stopped at this but also went the extra mile to engaging other party chieftains and community leaders to pledge in their support.
Senator Tayo Alasoadura- Standing tall among these notable names is the Hon. Minister State, Niger Delta Affairs, Hon Tayo Alasoadura.
This is a man who had pledged his allegiance to the Governor even before the Governor openly and formally declared his intention to run for a second term.
A man who stood with the Governor all the way till victory was achieved. The man who used his influence and resources to fronting the re-election bid of the Governor.
Truly, the success of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN at the October 10 Gubernatorial election in Ondo State can never be reeled out with the laudable efforts of Hon. Tayo Alasoadura
Femi Adekanbi- Another worthy mention is the ever proactive and energetic Femi Adekanbi, one whose popularity cannot be undermined in the APC and the kingdom of Owo.
Banking on his good person and popularity, he mobilized and actively canvassed for the support of the youths in Owo Kingdom as he was instrumental in moving a lot of youths from the People’s Democractic Party which was his Former party to the All Progressive Congress (APC)
Sharing same Home town with the Governor, he actively contributed his quota towards ensuring that Arakunrin Akeredolu won his home town with a landslide victory.
. Prince Jimi Odimayo- The resounding victory of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN in the South which boosted his chances of emerging victorious at the just concluded Gubernatorial polls in Ondo State was facilitated by people like Prince Jimi Odimayo.
First, he stepped down for tArakunrin Akeredolu SAN before the party primary election. And from there on, he never relented in canvassing and mobilising for the Governor in Irele.
Adding to this, he took the Akeredolu re-election agenda as his own as he used both his resources front this agenda.
Abayo Sheba- Another notable name in the South, who contributed in no small measure to the victory of the Governor in the just concluded election.
He’s actively involved in mobilizing the people of Irele to support and vote for Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
As a grassroots politician, he proved his loyalty to the Governor by reaching out to his people by engaging them right from the grassroots in the South.
Barr. Remi Olatubora– The legal luminary cum astute politician is one of those figures whose name will always be remembered in good light for his numerous contributions to the success of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN on the 10th of October, 2020.
Pushing the agenda as his, he worked tirelessly by pulling the right strings all which contributed to the victory of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
Mr. Gboyega Adefarati- Son to the Late Governor of Ondo State, Adebayo Adefarati, Mr Gboyega Adefarati is another major support whose contribution to the success of the Akeredolu re-election bid cannot be undermined.
The Commissioner for Agriculture in the State stood strongly behind the Governor and he channeled all his resources to the attainment of the Ibi-Giga goal.

Razak Obe– The grassroots politician from Ifedore is another name that we cannot forget in a hurry.
Among his people, he was a major force as he actively engaged the people of Ifedore Local Government area of the state on the need to ensure and sustain continuity in the State.
Through house to house mobilization, media engagement and communual development, he unrelentingly contributed his quota to the success of the Governor at the poll.
. Hon. D.I Kekemeke– the Brain behind the Lekeleke Movement in Ondo State, Hon. D.I Kekemeke showed his worthy as not only a true progressive but also a complete grassroots politician who is well revered and loved by his people.
After the primary election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) he went on to becoming one of the major force behind the incumbent Governor, he went on to have the most organized and powerful Movement for the Governor’s re-election bid which was the Lekeleke Movement.
Jimoh Ibrahim- This list will never be completed without giving a mention of the Araba himself. One whose support can be described like a rock and strong pillar to Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN.
Even before the Governor had formally declared his plan to run for a second term, he was already wavering the flag of the Arakunrin Akeredolu for second term.
The moral support he have the Governor was massive, talk about his financial contribution has he led the line among other party bigwigs and supporters to solidify the Akeredolu/ Ayedatiwa team as they headed for the election.
. Pius Osanyikanmi- Another deserving name on this list is Dr. Pius Osanyikanmi. A man popularly loved among his people and also noted for his high intellect and reserve nature.
He was among the few who never hid their support for the Governor as the four plus four hand signature became his favorite logo.
Adding to this, he successfully mobilized his people for Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN. He never relented channeling both his moral and financial support for the Governor till victory was finally achieved.
Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa– Not just a bigwig in the APC, but also an experienced member of the Party. He is the only member of the Party that has the history of the Party from the ACN which led to the eventual formation of the APC.
A member of the National Campaign Team headed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, he toured the 18 local government areas of the state with the Governor Campaigning with the Governor.
He is also the only party member who defended and supported the choice of the new Deputy, Lucky Ayedatiwa during the stakeholders meeting.
Akinola Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa will always be noted as a man who put aside his personal interest for the overall good of the party.
. Mr Wale Akinterinwa– The Ondo State Commissioner for Finance is another figure whose personality and grandeur speaks greatly of his unalloyed support and loyalty to the Governor.
The influence and contribution of the highly industrious, transparent and accountable figure can never be undermined as he rose to the task with renewed vigor and dedication to not only serving his principal officer but to also ensuring continuity in the State.
He actively mobilized the good people of Ile-Oluji/ Oke-Igbo to support and cast their votes for the Governor.
Dipo ‘Carry Go’ Okeyomi: Spotlighting the men behind Aketi’s 2nd term victory
Hon Dipo Okeyomi aka Carry Go made laudable contributions to the victory of the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu in the October 10, 2020 governorship election.
Despite being one of the initial voices who called for a change of candidate before the APC primaries, Okeyomi put the past behind him when Aketi emerged the APC candidate and worked assiduously for the victory of the party in his Ikare-Akoko hometown.
He was Coordinator of ‘Otooge Aketi’ and when the pendulum swung to Akeredolu’s side after the primary, he also led the ‘O Tun ya Aketi’ group which mobilised aggrieved party members and electorates to ensure the party’s candidate become victorious in the election.
Okeyomi who is also a leader of the APC in Lagos deserves accolades for his sportsman spirit and putting the interest of the party first.
Dr. Francis Adegoke Akanbiemu – His major strategy was working to improve the health of the citizens of Ondo state and by extension propagating all the giant health reforms initiative of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu in the areas of primary health care to the public using various mass communication means.
The Primary Health received a major boost from Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu and this to a large extent endeared the administration to the heart of the people. Cost of health care at the primary health levels was virtually free as equipment and adequate funding to the health sector made provision of health services stress-free.

Leveraging on his popularity, he ensured that he built a strong political base for the Governor in his ward and constituency.
An advocate of good governance and leadership, he showed his unwavering support and commitment to the victory of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the just concluded election in Ondo State.
