There was wide celebrate in Mallar polling unit in Mwari ward of Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 478 votes to beat the All Progressives Congress (APC) which scored 101 votes in the supplementary election.
Large turnout of voters was seen casting their votes in some polling units in Bauchi States where the independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) had cancelled votes and directed for rerun.
Our correspondent who monitored the voting process in Mallar A and Mallar B polling units in Mwari ward in Bogoro Local Government area in which has 1,130 registered voters reports that the process was orderly and peaceful in the area.
