Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has declared that no level of intimidation and militarisation would give the All Progressives Congress (APC) victory in tomorrow’s House of Assembly election in the state.

The governor boasted that Bayelsa State remains a stronghold of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Dickson, who said, yesterday, while addressing political appointees of his administration, called on Bayelsans to remain steadfast in resisting intimidation and harassment in their bid to exercise their franchise.

He alleged that the APC candidates and the party’s leaders did not campaign to persuade the electorate to vote for them, and accused the opposition party of relying on the military and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to rig elections for them.

He assured that all those behind the killings during the presidential and National Assembly polls will be brought to book.

Governor Dickson urged the political appointees to intensify their efforts at maintaining the dominance of the PDP, by winning all the 24 seats in the House of Assembly.

“Their plan is to overrun and forcefully takeover our state, through terrorism and military occupation, and they have found willing tools in our brothers who are in the APC,” he said.
