According to Benny, as he says during an interview that he has been interested in jewellery designing and creation since his childhood, as his father was associated with this industry. He has received this as a heritage from his father.
His parents Moshe and Bella did not belong to New York, but they came from Uzbekistan and Israel in the year 1988. It was a middle-class family. Benny attended the prestigious Forest High School but did not complete his course there and left school. But as he was interested in the jewellery business, he decided to take up vocational courses for it.
Benny has been offering intricate designs of Pendants, Watches, Earrings, Rings, Chains Grills and other pieces of jewellery according to the choice and demand of his celebrity clients. He has been creating the design to satisfy the celebrities. It is quite difficult to create satisfactory designs as each and everyone has a separate taste and desire in their mind.
According to Benny the process of creating customised jewellery piece for celebrity clients is a little complicated. Each client has a special design of their own in their mind and imagination. And to bring out this imagination is not an easy job. At first, he contacts the client and creates a sketch with the help of the client, then its draft is created and altered, then a wooden prototype is created for the trial design to show the client. If the client approves it the quality and grades are discussed keeping in mind the price point also. And then if all goes well and the green signal is given to Benny the final product is prepared to take at least three to four weeks depending upon the size of the jewellery piece.
