The Numan general hospital was built in 1922 and has been neglected by the successive governments to a state of disrepair until now.

The work, when completed, would bring quality healthcare services closer to the entire southern part of Adamawa comprising, Numan, Shelleng, Guyuk, Demsa and Lamurde communities in the state.

Governor Bindow promised to supervise the construction personally so as to ensure high quality of work and a timely delivery.

Bindow continued, “I am here to fulfil my campaign promise regarding this hospital, the contractor has promised to complete the rehabilitation in six months and I desire to be here after six months for the commissioning of the hospital complex.”
