A faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo led by the Secretary General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Uche Okwukwu, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his victory at last Saturday’s Presidential poll.

Addressing a press conference in Enugu, Thursday, the scribe disclosed that an enlarged delegation of Ndigbo would be in Abuja next week to congratulate the President.

He disclosed that the delegation will also present a charter of demands to Buhari.

Okwukwu had disagreed with the President General of Ohanaeze, Chief Nnia Nwodo, over the group’s endorsement of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and eventually led some Igbo leaders and traditional rulers to adopt Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
