Unconfirmed reports say that Rivers State Police Commissioner, Francis Bolaji Odesanya, is dead.
Mr Odesanya was said to have died, on Tuesday morning, at an unnamed hospital outside Nigeria after a brief illness.
Efforts to get the state’s police spokesman to confirm the report failed as he did not pick his calls.
