President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Chairman, Plateau State All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Advisory Council, Captain Joseph Din (rtd), on his 81st birthday.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, in a statement said President Buhari commended Din’s patriotism, commitment to justice, equity and integrity which he has brought to bear since his retirement from the army in 1971 on business pursuits and active politics.
The President said he was particularly pleased with the efforts of Din, who is founding member of the APC and his colleagues in the Elders Advisory Council to bring about lasting peace in Plateau State.
President Buhari joins the family, friends and associates of the elder statesman in congratulating the retired army officer as he marks another significant milestone in his life.
He prayed God to grant the revered octogenarian continued good health and longer life of worthy service to his fatherland and humanity.
