President Muhammadu Buhari has told the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other parties in the country that being in opposition means being vibrant and responsible but not hostility, enmity or antagonism.

That was even as the National Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the PDP, Ahmed Makarfi, assured that though the party is in opposition, it’s poised to play the opposition role energetically, vibrantly, and very decently and with all sense of responsibility. He added that the party would give Buhari’s administration a good run for its money and constantly keep it on its toes all in a bid to have a better country

The President said this when he met with the leadership of the two leading parties in the country, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the Aso Rock villa, Abuja, yesterday.
