A campaign organisation for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 has declared that the president would return back hale and healthy and would seek for a second term in office.

Kassim Mohammed Kassim, said President Buhari had, in the last two years, laid the foundation for good governance in Nigeria, while urging Nigerians to support the government in order to sustain its efforts at building a peaceful and enduring democratic legacy in the country.

He described as ‘mischief media reports’ a purported search for the replacement of President Buhari by former presidents Obasanjo, Babangida and former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar.

The likes of Sen. Musa Kwankwaso, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, former governors  Donald Duke or Adams Oshiomole, were beoing touted to replace President Buhari in 2019.

Kassim further said that such a move was not only an act of betrayer but arson against the collective wishes of the Nigerian people, adding that at no time had Buhari confided in any of them about his future political plans.

Kassim, who is also a member of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, representing Akwanga South on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), pledged the group’s unflinching support to the emergence and continuation in office of President Buhari beyond 2019, adding that the search for successor for PMB is a conspiracy against good governance which the president is entrenching through the fight against corruption.

He appealed to Nigerians not to be deterred in their support for the present administration which is laying a lasting foundation for the future of the nation.
