National Movement for Re-election of Buhari (NMFRB), a pro-Buhari group has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory in the presidential poll.
Acknowledging the wide spread infrastructural development across the country, the group urged other Nigeria leaders to emulate the patriotic qualities of President Buhari.
Stressing that the future of Nigeria is bright under the current administration, the pro-Buhari group urged the political class to live up to expectations by providing good leadership at all levels of government.
In a statement issued on Saturday and signed by its Director of Sensitization and Awareness, Ojo Samuel, he appealed to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to accept the result of the presidential election in good faith in the spirit of sportsmanship and patriotism.
He said, “ the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari did not come to Nigerians as a surprise owing the goodworks of the President.
“In 2018 during our pro-Buhari sensitization visits to traditional rulers, universities, markets and other public places, which was championed by our National Coordinator, Dr. Orji Kalu, we were warmly received by our hosts because of the highlighted achievements of President Buhari.
“President Buhari is indeed a rare statesman, with passion for a just and decent society. Regardless of party, religious and ethnic differences, we must join hands together to take Nigeria to the next level”
The group while advising Nigerians to sustain their support for the President, called on other Nigeria leaders emulate the leadership qualities of President Buhari, adding the collective interest of the people should be placed above selfish ambitions.
