The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have appointed Mouad Hajji as the new Secretary General of CAF.

At the meeting chaired by CAF President Ahmad,  Hajji was appointed to replace sacked Amr Fahmy.

The Continental body  also confirmed that  Essadik Alaoui, deputy general secretary in charge of administration and finance, had also departed the organisation.

His departure was claimed to be “amicable”.
