Enyimba International Football Club of Aba will today face Zamalek of Egypt in a make or break CAF Champions League Group B Day 5 fixture in Cario.
The encounter will determine the team to join already qualified Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Enyimba was yet to record a point after two rounds of matches in the group stage of the competition. The club will need to beat Zamalek, who has three points, to get her campaign back on track as the club has a final game at home against nine-point Sundowns.
The Egyptian giants had claimed a narrow 1-0 away win over the Peoples Elephant in Port Harcourt in the first encounter, courtesy of an early goal from Basem Morsy.
While Enyimba will aim for an outright win , a point is all host needed to decide the group as far as places at the last four is concerned.
Zamalek goes into the match with their morale high, after clinching a fourth Egyptian Cup in row. The Cairo-based club ousted arch rivals Ahly 3-1 in Alexandria last Monday to claim their 25th Egyptian Cup title, and save their domestic season after Ahly edged them to the league title.
The White Knights occupy second spot in Group with three points, six behind semis-bound South African side, Mamelodi Sundowns, and will guarantee their spot at the last four by avoiding defeat against two-time winner.
